The system application software includes the time critical control software that is running
on the sensor and the application that stores the survey data (including pictures) on the harddrives.

The system firmware includes the realtime operation system (os) of the sensor and other
neccessary software for the Hawk Eye II system. |

The Operator Console software (OC) is used by the operator both for mission planning and
for control and supervision of the system during survey.

The Coastal Suvey Studio software (CSS) is used for processing and cleaning of the rawdata.
From CSS it is possible to export the point clouds in to various file formats e.g.:
- ASCII files, regular text
files in which each row states the attributes for one
point. Importable by almost all types of third party
software.
- LAS files, a standard binary
format for Laser Data. Importable by e.g. Caris.
- AHAB binary, a binary output format that can be used with AHAB software or that can be implemented for third party software

The POSPac software is used for processing the raw data from the positioning system and aditional
sources in to accurate and reliable position and attitude data.
